The Arunachal Pradesh government has inaugurated the 6 MW Shaikangchu small-hydro power project at Gongkhar village in Arunachal Pradesh. The plant marks the biggest project undertaken by the Department of Hydropower in the state and will supply electricity to 27 villages around Mukto circle.
