GE Power secures orders from BHEL

GE Power India has secured two boiler equipment orders from BHEL for supercritical thermal power projects (TPPs) in Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu worth Rs 4.67 billion. BHEL will be providing engineering, procurement and construction services for Phase I expansion of the 2,400 MW supercritical TPP owned by Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited and the 1,320 MW Udangudi Stage I TPP owned by Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited. Under the contract, GE Power will supply pressure parts for the Patratu TPP and Udangudi TPP for an order value of Rs 3.41 and Rs 1.86 respectively for onshore supply.
