NTPC achieves generation growth of 7.45 per cent

NTPC has recorded a 7.45 per cent growth in generation during the first quarter of 2018-19. The utility has achieved a quarterly generation of 69.2 BUs as against 68.6 BUs generated in the fourth quarter of 2017-18. The NTPC Group recorded the highest quarterly generation of 76.9 BUs in the first quarter of 2018-19 against the previous highest of 76.1 BUs in the fourth quarter of 2017-18. NTPC has a total installed capacity of 53,651 MW and is currently implementing an additional capacity of over 20,000 MW at multiple locations across the country.
