Sterlite Power has upgraded the capacity of Jharkhand’s 132 kV 61.6 km Hatia-Kamdara transmission line. The project has been completed five months ahead of the scheduled date. Continuous outages in Karra, Kamdara and Gumla had triggered the need to enhance the power transfer capacity along this line so that the power transmission requirements of the area could be met. The timely delivery of the project has provided a major relief to over 0.5 million people in the region.
