Grid network developer China Southern Power Grid (CSG) has signed an MoU with Laos’s state-owned power company Electricite du Laos (EDL) for conducting a feasibility study on developing Laos’s national transmission grid in the Lao capital Vientiane. This is expected to improve transmission efficiency and reliability across the country.
