Poyry wins owner’s engineer contract for 340 MW wind power project in Vietnam

Finnish consulting and engineering firm Poyry has received an owner’s engineer services contract for a 340 MW wind project in Vietnam from Super Energy Corporation Public Company Limited. Under the contract, Poyry will conduct feasibility studies, technical reviews of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts, project management and reviews of the engineering design. The subprojects consist of a 40 MW wind farm in Ca Mau, which is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2020, a 30 MW wind park in SocTrang which is expected to be completed by mid-2020, and a 142 MW plant in Bac Lieu which is expected to start operations by end 2020.
