The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has cancelled the 2 GW Tranche V ISTS-connected wind tender issued in May 2018. Technical bids totalling 1,200 MW were received against the tendered capacity of 2 GW. SECI has now retendered 1.2 GW under Tranche V. The projects will be developed on a build-own-operate basis. A single bidder can bid for a minimum of 50 MW and a maximum of 600 MW capacity. All other provisions are the same as in the previous tenders.
