A subsidiary of Sembcorp Energy India Limited, Sembcorp Gayatri Power Limited has won a tender conducted by the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) to supply 250 MW of power to Bangladesh for 15 years. Power supply is expected to commence upon the completion of the procedural requirements and receipt of the relevant government approvals.
