Tata Power has signed an agreement with the Afghanistan government-owned electricity company Da Afghanistan Bresha Sherkat for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity. Through the agreement, Tata Power aims to tap huge opportunities in the power sector in Afghanistan, where only 35 per cent of the people have access to electricity.
