German energy firm Juwi has signed two EPC contracts with a consortium of Vietnam’s BIM Group and the Philippines’ AC Energy for two solar projects of 50 MW and 30 MW in Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam. Juwi will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the plants for the next five years. Once completed, the plants are expected to add more than 125 million kWh of electricity to Vietnam’s national grid annually.
