Vikram Solar signs agreement with NTPC for 140 MW solar project

Vikram Solar has been selected for commissioning a 140 MW solar plant project of NTPC Limited at Bilhaur, Kanpur. A 700 acre area has been allotted for the project. NTPC plans to install a 225 MW solar plant in Uttar Pradesh and Vikram Solar has been selected to commission the first allotment of 140 MW of the project. The project is expected to be completed by September 2020 (as per the tender guidelines).
