The 8th edition of Indian Power Stations 2019, an international operations and maintenance conference that is organised annually by NTPC Limited, was attended by over 500 delegates. The conference coincided with the synchronisation of NTPC’s flagship Singrauli power station on February 13, 1982. The conference, themed “Generating safe, reliable, eco-friendly flexible power”, was attended by the power minister and other senior officials from the ministry, and witnessed the participation of delegates from state and private power generating and utility companies. A total of 11 international papers and 71 domestic papers on issues pertinent to the sector were presented during the two-day conference held at Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
