PLN secures finding for transmission projects

Indonesia’s state-owned power company Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) has obtained funding to finance key power transmission and substation projects. It has received syndication loans of Rp 4.5 trillion from three state banks – Bank Negara Indonesia, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, and Bank Central Asia. The loans will be used to finance transmission grids and substations in transferring power supply from the eastern, central and western parts of the island of Java to the capital city of Jakarta.
