Prysmian Group secures contract from Singapore’ SP Power

Italian cable maker Prysmian Group has secured an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract worth Euro 33 million from Singapore-based utility SP Power Assets Limited for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of two high voltage power cable systems for connecting the Rangoon and Paya Lebar substations in Singapore. The contract includes 44 km of 230 kV high voltage alternating current (HVAC) underground 2,000 mm² cables with a seamless corrugated aluminium sheath and related high voltage accessories. Prysmian will also supply its patent PRY-CAM technologies to the monitoring system.
