The union cabinet has approved a cooperation agreement between the MNRE and Denmark’s Ministry for Energy, Utilities and Climate in the area of offshore wind energy. The cabinet has approved a letter of intent to establish an Indo-Danish Centre of Excellence for renewable energy in India. The agreement was signed in March 2019. The objective of the agreement is to promote cooperation between the two countries in the field of renewable energy with a special focus on offshore wind.
