China’s United Gas Turbine Company (UGTC) will collaborate with Italy’s Ansaldo Energia to develop heavy-duty gas turbines. Ansaldo Energia will support UGTC’s heavy duty gas turbine programme with technical experience in design, engineering and testing. UGTC is owned by State Power Investment Corporation Limited, which is already working on developing China’s first indigenous heavy duty gas turbines.
