GAIL India Limited has signed a memorandum of agreement with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for cooperation in the development of solar power projects. GAIL will be the project developer and BHEL will act as an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and project management contractor. BHEL will also provide operations and maintenance services during the initial period, upon becoming a successful bidder.
