Sterlite Power signs agreement for transmission project in Brazil

Sterlite Power has signed an agreement worth Rs 13.94 billion for the Pampa transmission project in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The project was secured at the energy transmission auction held by ANEEL (Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency). The project entails the construction of three energy transmission lines totalling 316 km, two substations and 1,544 MVA transformation capacity, with an annual allowed revenue of 74.72 Brazilian real million. The project is expected to be completed by March 2023.
