Cummins India Limited has launched a Stamford alternator-powered diesel generator set in India. The 35 kVA engine of the X2.7 series has advanced in-cylinder technology to meet the latest emission norms without any after-treatment device. It has the best-in-class transient response, with 100 per cent block loading capacity. It is compact in size with an optimum power-to-weight ratio, and has the lowest noise levels in its range. The technology is designed to meet the stringent exhaust emission tests as mandated under the revised norms of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, thus offering environment-friendly power.
