Bangladesh’s PGCB invites bids for Kachua GIS substation

State-owned Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Limited has invited international competitive bids for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a 230/132 kV gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) substation at Kachua, and 132/33 kV GIS substations at Muradnagar, Lakhsam, Chandina, Koshba and Laxmipur. The contract is part of the “enhancement and strengthening of power network in the eastern region” project, which is being funded by the World Bank. The last date for submission of bids is July 1, 2019.
