Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has expedited the development of the Kalyani Khani 6 Incline coal block in Telangana. The company has recently invited expressions of interest for carrying out pre-mining activities, including the development and extraction of coal seams by introducing continuous miner technology, in a phased manner. The Kalyani Khani-6 Incline coal block is a new underground coal mining project with extractable reserves of 15.65 million tonnes.
