BHEL has secured an order worth Rs 4.4 billion for the erection of two turbine-generator units of 1,000 MW each at the upcoming Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project (Units 3 and 4) in Tamil Nadu. The order was placed by Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited and the project is being set up with Russian cooperation.
