PFC Consultancy Limited has appointed NHPC Limited as an aggregator for Pilot Scheme II. The scheme is aimed at facilitating power procurement for three years from coal-based power plants that have already been commissioned and do not have PPAs. A tariff of Rs 4.41 per kWh was discovered under this scheme through e-reverse auction. Under the scheme, NHPC is expected to tie up power by September 30, 2019. It will make efforts to tie up the entire 2,500 MW of power.
