GE Power secures FGD contracts from NTPC worth Rs 23 billion

GE Power India has secured three contracts from NTPC to supply and install wet FGD systems for a combined value of Rs 23.11 billion. The contracts have been awarded for three power projects – the Indira Gandhi super thermal power project (IGSTPP) (1,500 MW) by the Aravali Power Company (NTPC’s subsidiary), Simhadri super thermal power station Stage I (1,000 MW) and Stage II (1,000 MW), and Sipat super thermal power station Stage I (1,980 MW).
