Adani Transmission Limited (ATL) has received letters of intent (LoIs) for two transmission projects under TBCB. The first LoI has been issued by PFC Consulting Limited for the Bikaner-Khetri transmission project to be developed in Rajasthan on a BOOM basis and will have around 480 ckt. km of 765 kV lines. It will be constructed mainly to facilitate the transmission system related to the Rajasthan Solar Zone, Part D. ATL has also received an LoI from REC Transmission Projects Company for the WRSS XXI (A) Transco Limited. This project will also be established on a BOOM basis for 35 years and will consist of around 272 ckt. km of 765 kV lines and 3,000 MVA of substation capacity. The company also plans to invest about Rs 40 billion as capital expenditure during 2019-20, of which about Rs 12 billion has been earmarked for power distribution infrastructure in Mumbai.
