BHEL has secured an order from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited for erection work of reactor side equipment of the 2×1,000 MWe Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project Units 3 and 4 in Tamil Nadu, being set up under foreign cooperation with Russia. The order is valued at Rs 4.86 billion. BHEL had earlier secured an order for the same project for the erection of a turbine generator island.
