Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) has commissioned a 150 MW solar photovoltaic power project at Pokhran in Rajasthan. With this, the overall operational renewable capacity of TPREL stands at 2,628 MW. The company had won this project at a tariff of Rs 2.72 per kWh in May 2018. The sale of power from this plant has been tied up under a 25-year PPA with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL).
