The acquired business is operational as INEOS Composites, headquartered at Dublin, Ohio, USA. INEOS Composites is engaged in the development, manufacture and supply of a broad range of high-performance grades of unsaturated polyester (AROPOLTM), vinyl ester resins (DERAKANETM, HETRONTM), and gelcoats (MAXGUARDTM) for the FRP industry. Its flagship product range of Derakane epoxy vinyl ester resins for chemical corrosion applications for the power, metals and mining, and chemicals industries is now available with the added expertise of INEOS. Derakane has over 50 years of documented reliability for various demanding chemical services across industries globally. Its most recent product, Derakane Signia, provides benefits such as low styrene emission, better workability and a unique identification system, which assures that the specified/recommended resin gets used.
