The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has awarded a SAR 41.8 million contract for the construction of the 132/13.8 kV Abu Arish-2 substation to Saudi Arabia-based construction company Haif Bin Mohammed Bin Abboud Al-Qahtani. The contract entails design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, and undertaking associated work and services until the final handing over of the new substation.
