Siemens secures order from SK Engineering & Construction Company Limited

Siemens has secured an order from South Korean engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) firm SK Engineering & Construction Company Limited to set up a high efficiency HL-class power island for a new 1,004 MW combined cycle power plant in South Korea. The plant is being built by IPP Yeoju Energy Services in Gyeonggi province. The plant will run on regasified liquefied natural gas (LNG). This is the first order for Siemens HL-class gas turbines in Asia. The project is scheduled for commissioning in mid-2022.
