Uganda’s UETCL invites international bids for substations

State-owned Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL) has invited international bids for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 132/33 kV and 220/132/33 kV substations. The contract is part of the 132 kV Mirama–Kabale Transmission Line and Distribution Project, which is being funded by the Islamic Development Bank. The scope of the contract includes the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the new 132/33 kV Kabale substation and the 220/132/33kV Mirama substation.
