Angola’s power transmission network developer Rede Nacional de Transporte de Electricidade (RNT) has invited expressions of interest (EoI) for providing engineering services for the construction of the 343 km, 400 kV Huambo–Lubango transmission line and 2×450 MVA, 400/220/60 kV substations, and for upgrading an existing substation in Huambo. The contract is part of Phase I of the Energy Sector Efficiency and Expansion Programme, which is being funded by the African Development Bank. The duration of the contract is 12 months.
