Bahrain’s EWA awards substation contract to NESMA Telecom and Technology

Bahrain-based utility company Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) has awarded a contract to Saudi Arabia-based NESMA Telecom and  Technology Limited, a subsidiary of NESMA Holding, for the construction of four 66/11 kV substations — Amas C city, Amas D city, Amas E city and Amas F city. The contract is valued at BHD 15 million and is part of Phase II of the 220 kV and 66 kV Transmission Development Programme (2012-16). The programme entails the construction of 15 substations across the country.
