Power Africa and Africa50 have signed an MoU for attracting private sector investment and developing public-private participation models in sub-Saharan Africa. The initiative aims to support the economic growth by increasing access to reliable, affordable and sustainable power in Africa. It hopes to add more than 30 GW of cleaner, efficient electricity generation capacity and 60 million new home and business connections by 2030.
