Sterlite Power has acquired the Lakadia-Vadodara Transmission Project from PFC Consulting. The project was secured through tariff-based competitive bidding. It involves the laying of 350 km of 765 kV double-circuit transmission line connecting the 765/400 kV Lakadia substation to the Vadodara substation in Gujarat. The company will execute the project under the build-own-operate-maintain model within 18 months and operate it for 35 years.
