GE T&D India has appointed Pitamber Shivnani as chief executive officer (CEO) and president of GE Grid Solutions, South Asia. He will be responsible for managing GE’s grid solutions market in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Myanmar. Shivnani has over 30 years of experience in the transmission and distribution sector in India. He joins GE T&D India from ABB India, where he was president of the power grid division.
