The State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) has operationalised the first smart underground cable line in Nanjing city, which connects to the Nanjing Cable Lean Management and Control Platform. The tunnel in which the 220 kV Ningmo cable is laid is 5.9 km in length, starting from the 220 kV Mochouhu substation in the west and ending at the 220 kV Ninghai Road substation in the east. The underground cable line is equipped with 800 sensing devices, enabling it to collect real-time information.
