The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has awarded substation and line contracts worth SAR94 million to Saudi-based construction companies. The first contract, valued at SAR44.8 million, has been awarded to Grupo Maessa Saudi Arabia, a subsidiary of Spain-based Grupo Maessa. The contract involves undertaking reinforcement works at the Rafeah-2 and Qaryat Al Ulya substations.
