The Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) has outlined a plan to adopt new technologies such as big data, internet of things and artificial intelligence to improve the local power system. It has started installing state-of-the-art equipment and technologies for power system management and operations, including the implementation of hydrological forecasting software, remote controls, and unmanned substations in the 110 kV-220 kV grid systems to improve production and business activities, enhance productivity and reduce costs.
