EVN’s subsidiary National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) intends to invest $800 million in transmission projects in 2020. Around 53 transmission projects will be completed by 2020 and the construction of another 38 will also commence in the same year. The progress of 500 kV power lines, such as Vung Ang–Pleiku 2, Song Hau–Duc Hoa and My Tho–Duc Hoa, would be closely monitored by EVNNPT. Further, focus would be on ensuring reliable power supply to the capital city of Hanoi.
