Singapore government selects Sembcorp to build 60 MWp floating solar farm on Tengeh Reservoir

The Singapore government has selected Sembcorp Industries’ wholly owned subsidiary Sembcorp Solar Singapore, to build a 60 MWp floating solar photovoltaic (PV) system on the Tengeh reservoir. The project, scheduled to be completed by 2021, will be one of the world’s largest single, floating solar PV systems. It will also make Sembcorp one of the largest renewable energy players in Singapore with about 240 MWp of solar capacity.
