Vietnam’s NPTC completes phase I of the 500 kV Song Hau–Duc Hoa power line

State-owned Electricity of Vietnam’s transmission subsidiary, the National Power Transmission Corporation, has completed Phase I of the 500 kV Song Hau–Duc Hoa power line, which is a sub-project of the Asian Development Bank-funded Power Transmission Investment Programme (PTIP) Tranche 4. Tranche 4 of the PTIP is divided into four sub-projects, two of which are the 104 km long 500 kV Duc Hoa–Chon Thanh and the 134 km long Song Hau–Duc Hoa overhead transmission lines. The other two entail the construction of 220 kV substations at Chau Duc and Ben Luc.
