Power Mech Projects has secured orders worth Rs 3.51 billion from BHEL and Jaiprakash Power Ventures Limited (JPVL). The order from BHEL, valued at Rs 2.11 billion, entails the civil and architectural works of all buildings and associated works for the 1,320 MW Maitree Rampal Project in Bangladesh. The project is to be completed in 20 months. The company has also received an order from JPVL for the O&M of the 1,320 MW Jaypee Nigrie Super Thermal Power Plant in Madhya Pradesh for a period of five years, for a contract price of Rs 1.4 billion.
