BYPL signs MoU with Elektromobilitat to set up EV charging stations

BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) has signed an MoU with Elektromobilitat India Private Limited for setting up electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in east and central Delhi. Under the MoU, EV charging stations will be set up at strategic locations such as metro stations, public parking lots, office complexes, residential buildings, market places, hospitals and hotels. The charging infrastructure will be managed by an advanced cloud-based system. In a separate development, BYPL and Schneider Electric have signed an agreement to offer safety and home automation products. This will be accomplished through two programmes – the first will be to prevent electrical mishaps through electrician trainings while under the second programme, consumers will be offered low-priced safety and home automation products.
