Indonesia’s PT PLN plans to invest $6.3 billion in power infrastructure in 2020

Indonesia’s state-owned power company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PT PLN) plans to invest $6.3 billion for the development of power infrastructure in the country in 2020. The work entails expansion of power transmission grids, distribution networks and construction of new power plants across the country. PT PLN has set a target to construct 4,459 km of transmission lines by the end of 2020, whereas 19,069 km of lines will be constructed by 2024.
