L&T Construction’s power transmission and distribution business has secured significant orders in India and overseas. In Bangladesh, the business has won a turnkey order for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of transmission infrastructure for the 800 MW Rupsha power plant. In Nepal, an order to build 220 kV substations has been received. In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, L&T has secured an order to establish 380 kV and 230 kV transmission lines. On the domestic front, the company has won an order to design and construct a 50 MW solar photovoltaic plant in Tamil Nadu. Further, additional orders have been received for ongoing transmission line works in India.
