Pakistan’s NTDC energises New Kot Lakhpat–Sarfraz Nagar power line

Pakistan’s state-owned, high voltage network developer National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDC), has successfully completed the construction and energising of the 220 kV New Kot Lakhpat (NKLP)-Sarfraz Nagar double-circuit, twin bundle transmission line-in line-out (LILO) arrangement for the 220 kV Ghazi Road grid station in Lahore. The 30 km long power line has been linked with the 500 kV NTDC Lahore (South) grid station and will evacuate power from the Balloki regasified LNG power plant and Sahiwal coal-fired power plant to Lahore Electricity Supply Company areas.
