BEML Limited has won an order from Coal India Limited (CIL) for the supply of seven 150-T and eight 205E-T dump trucks under trial-cum-sale along with an eight-year spare parts contract. These dumpers will be deployed at CIL’s subsidiaries – SECL’s Gevra project and NCL’s Amlohri and Nigahi projects. The total value of the order is Rs 3.98 billion. The dump trucks are being indigenously designed and developed by BEML at its Mysore complex. The trucks have eco-friendly emission certificate engines with electronic fuel management systems to deliver maximum power.
