L&T Construction’s power transmission and distribution business has secured orders in India and abroad. In India, it has won an order to strengthen the urban high tension distribution network in Chennai, with the addition of ring main units and feeder remote terminal units on a turnkey basis. In addition, fully automated, unmanned 33 kV GISs will be established at select locations. Another order has been secured to supply and install medium voltage capacitor banks with related accessories to different discoms in Uttar Pradesh.
