Danish turbine maker Vestas Wind Systems has secured an order for two wind projects totalling 64 MW in Vietnam. The wind projects are owned by local companies Huong Tan Wind Poser Joint Stock Co. and Tan Linh Wind Power Joint Stock Co. Both facilities are situated in the province of Quang Tri. Vestas will supply, transport, install and commission a total of 16 wind turbines for the two projects. These projects are expected to commence at the end of the second quarter of 2021. With the latest order, Vestas has secured over 160 MW of orders in Vietnam.
